Too Tall (LokixReader) One-ShotYou groaned as the Asgardian tailors made about a thousand of alterations on the dress you wore. Apparently they had measured you wrong and the dress was shorter and tighter. You looked like a giant in the golden dress that you wore. You had such high hopes for this dress as well. The fashion designer had shown you pages of drawings of the dress and how it'd look on your body.
Looks like you shouldn't have gotten your hopes up.
The tailors were now by your feet, writing down on their clipboards how much fabric they should add and by the end of the session, they agreed that they should just start over. They left, shaking their heads and muttering to themselves. They mostly wondered how could it be that an Asgardian woman was so tall. Hell, you were almost as tall as Loki, your fiance.
Even after the tailors had gone, you stared at yourself in the mirror with disappointment. All your life you had been rejected by men because of your height. Guys found it to be unattractive apparent
LokiXReader Visiting"I have been so harsh to you, and yet, you still visit me?" Loki leaned forward, grabbing the ceiling above him for support, so that he didn't face-plant the chains to his prison.
You smiled, and nodded.
His next word came out more like a cool breath, rather than a question, "Why?"
You thought about it for a moment, before shrugging your shoulders, and shaking your head.
Curiosity glinted in his gaze. Seeing this, your smile grew wider.
"Because I'd love to let you out, or at least sit with you, in there." You calmly stated.
You took a step forward, onto the steps that led to his prison. Then another, and another, until you were on the final step. He watched you closely, your figure becoming the only thing in his eyes.
"I am nothing special. I insult you, berate you, degrade you. Perhaps you've gone mad."
You giggled lightly, and shook your head, again.
"No, that's not it, I don't think."
You studied the fence that separated you and Loki, before reaching your hand out.
"(Y/n)? What are
LokiXReader Soulmate AU Part 2Loki held your hands in his own like he was afraid you might disappear. In your presence, he abandoned his pretense of disinterest and detachment, choosing, instead, to try and learn everything he could about you. He ignored the other Avengers and spoke in whispers that promised of a love that would endure for ages to come.
The others were not so taken in.
“He could be faking it.” Steve said, voicing what was on everyone’s minds. Loki was, after all, the God of Mischief. Unfortunately, faking a soulmate connection wasn’t unheard of.
Bruce looked at the two of you a bit uncertainly. “I could run some tests, check their compatibility.”
“He isn’t lying. I can sense his emotions, and he had a typical reaction to someone finding their soulmate. He’s legit.” You pulled your hands free from his so that you could play with his slender fingers and map out the veins on the back of his hand.
A sound you recognized as Tony’s rington
He Loves Me Not [LokixReader][One Shot]
Everything gets romanticized.
Everyone loves the thought at living in a palace and falling in love with a prince, who, despite his reputation is above all kind, gentle, and loving towards you. All the secret hopes and dreams come true on a night that, during some celebration, you and he would find each other in a secluded area and he would pledge his love to you and all would be well. That’s just what everyone wanted.
And for you, it was hard to say that your dreams were much different. Yes, you would love to be rich and powerful, to have someone of equal standing (if not better) who was everything you ever wanted love you, and for everything to work out. But the reality of your situation was, pretty much none of that would ever happen. You weren’t rich, you certainly did not live in a palace, and there was no prince to love you.
Well…you had a prince, but he didn’t love you.
Never had you tho
I Did It For Her (LokixReader One-Shot)The stars were out, creating a blanket of night above your head. A light breeze came by, making the trees sway and dance with each other in the wind. You sighed content with yourself as you took a sip from your hot cocoa. Your body was warming up as you leaned against the cool glass on your window seat.
Even at night the city of Asgard sparkled.
Thor had once said that it was similar to a Midgardian city called New York. When you saw a picture of the place, you knew it was nothing compared to Asgard.
Looking above at the stars and velvet red and silken purple galaxies that lay beyond, you couldn't help but feel.....empty. Glancing at your bed that you had once shared with someone, you realized why.
It has been so long since you had last seen your neglected Prince. Once he had learned about his true past, he was never the same again. He became cold and distant. Sometimes he was like that with you. It saddened you to think that this was who he was now. But you still had hope
Chocolate Kisses (LokixReader) It was just another Friday. You had stayed up a long time the night before finishing up a homework project for college, and now today, after turning it in to your class and finishing up your other classes and making sure that no one at the Avengers Tower needed you for anything, you were dead tired. You went home and decided to take a long nap. When you woke up, you find that the sun was starting to set, and all of your roommates were gone for the weekend, so you had the apartment to yourself, which suited you just fine. You didn’t really have anywhere to go, and you were kind of the loner type (except when you had to join the Avengers in some kind of mission), so you were secretly grateful that your roommates were gone. It wasn’t that you didn’t enjoy their company or they weren’t nice people. On the contrary, they were really good friends and you had a lot of fun with them. But sometimes all their gossip about one classmate and their wh
